She died over an overdose a year and a half ago and I'm just completely losing it. I would love to correspond with anyone who can help in getting through this.

She stays in hotels or with friends. My husband and I have two other children, a 15 year old son and a 16 year old daughter. They are disgusted with their sister and want nothing to do with her. She has stolen from all of us. We keep tryng to help her but she doesn't want our help unless we give her money or rides somewhere. We won't give her money anymore. She cannot hold a job, dropped out of high school. I just need someone to talk to. I feel the burden of this is too much to bear by myself. My heart aches for every one of you mothers. We need to support each other. Sometimes I feel so overwhelmed.

	First Name: Diana Email Address: dianavirgo@hotmail.com Comments: MY BEAUTIFUL SON WENT OFF TO COLLEGE WITH HIGH HOPES IN HIS HEART...HE CAME BACK ADDICTED TO OC'S...IT WAS A ROLLERCOASTER RIDE TO HELP HIM BUT FINALLY WE WERE ABLE TO GET HIM IN A IN-PATIENT REHAB IN CANADA FOR 3 MONTHS...I WAS SO AFRAID FOR HIM TO COME BACK TO ALL THE FAMILIAR PLACES WHERE HE USED...HE MET A GIRL IN REHAB THAT BROUGHT HIM TO THE WEST COAST ANS THOUGHT THAT WAS THE BEST THING FOR HIM...IT DIDN'T WORK OUT AND HE IS HOME AGAIN NOW 25 AND PLAYING AROUND WITH HERION...THERE IS THE SIDE OF HIM THAT IS ASHAMED AND DISSAPOINTED IN HIMSELF AND THEN THE ADDITT SIDE...AS PARENTS, OF COURSE WEWANT TO HELP, BUT HAVE COME TO REALIZE THAT WE CAN'T...WE ALSO FEEL ASIF WE ARE MAKING IT EASIER FOR HIM TO USE. HE DOES HAVE A JOB..BUT THIS IS LURKING OVER US EVERYDAY...I WANT THE BEST FOR HIM, BUT IT REALLY BOILS DOWN TO WHAT HE WANTS FOR HIMSELF. WE ARE GIVING HIM ONE MORE CHANCE TO PROVE TO US THAT HE WANTS TO CHANGE...AND IF HE FAILS (WHICH WE FIGURE HE WILL) HE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE OUR HOME...DAMNIT IT'S SO HARD...IT DON'T WANT FOR HIM TO LEAVE, BUT I DO FEEL THAT IT'S PROBABLY BETTER FOR HIM IN THE LONG RUN...ANY ADVISE ON THIS WILL BE SO VERY HELPFUL...I PRAY FOR YOU ALL WHO HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS...I FEEL SO MANY NIGHTS THAT PHONE IS GOING TO RING WITH AWFUL NEWS..I JUST WANT TO RUN AWAY..BUT OF COURSE WE KNOW THERE IS KNOW WAY TO RUN AWAY EVEN IF THEY ARE WITH US THEY ARE WITH US...THANKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
